This paper describes the eight laboratory experiments developed for the Electrical Power and Machines (ECET 231) course in the Department of Computer, Electrical, and Information Technology at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), Indiana. The labs were first used during the Spring Semester of 2011 and have been improved every year since then. A brief description of each of the eight laboratory experiments, their respective objectives and the results obtained by some of the students are discussed in this paper. Student assessments for this course/lab are also presented. The feedback has been very positive and encouraging.
