A recent Library Program Review was an opportunity to study library services and operations from staffing to security to strategic planning and scholarly communication, collaboration with campus partners and highlight the value of the library in the mission of the institution. Library superheroes (aka staff and librarians), working in teams, identified and prioritized questions for a self-study which were uniquely important to the institution, the library, and all 21st century libraries. The multiple-month process has been an exercise in project organization, teamwork, consensus, prioritization, and communication. Library staff, faculty, and student library users have engaged a new understanding of the future directions in academic librarianship and charted the library future.
