Anticipated intergroup contact and personality traits
Midwestern Psychological Association,
We examined how openness and agreeableness were related to anticipated interpersonal contact with another student, identified as an international student or a local student. As predicted, openness was associated with selection processes and agreeableness with evocation processes, and these relationships were moderated by the interaction partner's group membership.
