Opus: Research and Creativity at IPFW, a joint program of the Helmke Library, the VCAA, and Office of RESP, supports the university’s academic mission to raise its national and international profile through open access to the academic and creative accomplishments of IPFW faculty and students.
In 2013, our goals were to:
- increase the number of faculty participating in Opus;
- increase the number of full-text items available for download;
- implement new features such as book covers of faculty publications and art galleries; and
- provide more communication about the issues of copyright management, open access, and altmetrics.
An analysis of 2013 Opus data shows continued growth in all of these areas, especially in the amount of metadata, links to full-text, and full-text content.
